Our food truck will come to you

Ramen Takara began at the foot of Mt. Fuji, where our executive chef Yuki learned the craft in her father’s bustling ramen shop, Hōchinrō.

Since opening in 2007, we’ve brought those traditions to Aotearoa — blending authentic Japanese flavours with fresh local ingredients and Kiwi hospitality.

We use locally sourced produce to create rich, flavourful ramen and sides, made fresh to order.

Our food truck will have a selection of three to six items from the menu below. Please note that we regularly change our offerings for each event and the availability is dependant on seasonal ingredients.

Ramen

  • Shoyu Ramen
  • Original soy base. Chāshū pork, egg, bok choy, spring onion, bamboo.
  • Tan-Tan Ramen [V*]
  • Rich sour and spicy sesame base. Vegetable stir-fry, pork mince, bok choy, shredded leek.
  • Kaisen Agesoba
  • Prawn, squid, vegetable stir-fry with oyster sauce on crispy noodles, karashi mustard.
  • Yakisoba [V*]
  • Fried noodles with pork belly, onion, cabbage, mayo. Also available with beef.

Zensai

  • Edamame Beans [V][GF*]
  • Premium edamame beans with flaky sea salt.
  • Renkon Chips [V][GF]
  • Crispy lotus root slices. Chilli mayo.
  • Crispy Noodle Salad [V]
  • Crispy noodles, green salad, shredded leek, mayo.
  • Quinoa Salad [V]
  • Quinoa, Shiki tofu, avocado, nori seaweed, wonton crisps.
  • Tuna Avo [GF*]
  • Fresh tuna, avocado, wasabi soy dressing, chilli mayo. Also available with salmon.

  • Pork Gyoza
  • Pan-fried dumplings with pork, cabbage, onion and chives.
  • Vegetable Gyoza [V]
  • Pan-fried dumplings with shiitake mushrooms, bamboo, taro, cabbage and chives.
  • Steamed Gyoza
  • Steamed dumplings with chicken, prawn and coriander.
  • Karaage Chicken
  • Our famous fried chicken, salad, mayo, lemon.
  • Sweet Chilli Prawns [GF*]
  • Shallow fried prawns in our sweet chilli sauce, wonton crisps, shredded leek.
